Church of the Saviour

Get involved.

'Every believer to be mature in Jesus, and every neighbour to hear of Jesus.'

The vision for Church of the Saviour is for ‘every believer to be mature in Jesus, and every neighbour to hear of Jesus.’  For this to happen each of us needs to play our part. But how we do that, might be different for each of us. Below we have thought of four ways we can get involved to make this vision happen.

Prayer

The most important way that you can get involved is by praying for Church of the Saviour.

Attend

Why not consider committing to coming along to Church of the Saviour, and making it your church?

Partner

Maybe you have come to some events and are committed to coming on Sunday, why not consider being a partner, someone who makes themselves available to serve at Church of the Saviour.

Give

We have lots of things we would like to do, but all these things need your financial generosity. Some of us give too much, some too little. Why not set some time aside to think and prayer about giving for the future.

ATTEND

The obvious way to get involved is to attend. You might be someone who has never been to church, or maybe you are someone who has gone to church in the past, but has not been very much recently. Why to decide to get involved, by simply attending Sunday by Sunday.  We have a place ready for you, and you will always be welcome.

PRAYER

Perhaps the most important way to get involved is to pray. Pray for Church of the Saviour, pray for its church family, and leaders. Pray for others to hear the good news about Jesus.  We might not be able to do lots, but we can pray. As long as you can think you can pray. In order to help you pray for the church we have an app for your mobile device ‘Prayermate.’  You can download the app here. And you can subscribe to our prayer feed here.

PARTNER

There is lots to do at Church of the Saviour, and lots that we can do. But we can only do as much as we are willing to do.  If you consider Church of the Saviour your church and you have been coming along regularly for a while. Why not considering becoming a partner?  There are no forms to fill out, it simply means saying ‘Hey, I want to help out. This is what I think I am good at. What do we need doing as a church?’ It could be serving a good brew at one of our meetings, it could be mowing the lawn, it could be helping out at a kids club. The sky is the limit!

GIVE

While it would not be appropriate for many of us to give, for a variety of good reasons, for some of us giving would be a good way for us to support the Church of the Saviour and express our faith in Jesus. If you give please remember to give according to your means (not beyond them), cheerfully and generously.  You can get a copy of the latest accounts here.

Sunday offering

Lots of choose to give at church on Sunday. You can do this via SumUp card reader or by cash. There is a collection dish to give donations in on Sundays.
