Frequently Asked Questions?

We meet at Church of the Saviour, Sunny Bank Road, Blackburn, BB2 3NT. Our service times are Sundays at 11:15am and Fridays at 6:30pm (All age).

We try to make our services as friendly as possible. They are normally an hour and fifteen minutes long. During this time we sing, we hear the Bible read we listen to an engaging talk of about 20 minutes, we pray and we hear some local community news. The services are normally lead from the front, by different people from the church. Sometimes we get the congregation to say things aloud. We always have tea and coffee. On Friday nights the talk is more interactive, and we normally do a craft and a game.

This is for every one. Our Friday services are suitable for the whole family. Our Sunday services are contemporary, and engaging.

We are a Church of England Church.  Our statements of faith are the creeds that Christians have believed for thousands of years, and the historic formularies. We believe that Jesus is the Son of God, who came to earth and died for our rejection of God, on our behalf, and that if we place our trust in him he brings into friendship with God. This friendship is based not on any thing we do, but entirely on God’s goodness, love and grace to us. We believe that the Bible is God’s word for us.
